Pros and cons of Database for ESO app for iPhone and iPad

Database for ESO app good for

If you love ESO this app is a big help especially when youre starting out, Great layout and maps just overall very helpful well worth the two dollars
Previously a little slow on updates, but when the sets caused crashing, quick fix. Nice job!!
this is my second review of this app. my first was three weeks ago, after the thieves guild update but before the dark brotherhood. everything is now finally up to date and this app is AWESOME! i paid for the build setup and it is soo worth it!
very very nice app, always based on actual patch. i only use this app instead of all these horrorful websites. i love it. please keep on increasing and updating this greatful app, im using it for the ps4 version of ESO and this product makes it so extremely easy and comfortable for me to build my own builds and find out Informations about crafting, shards etc
You pay $2 for the app then your expected to pay an extra $2 to unlock treasure maps. No thanks. Would be a 5 star app otherwise.
First of all this app is very useful for giving build details and information about maps and skyshards. I have used this a lot. However, some maps are just a white screen, like Coldharbour for example, or the skills list just has random characters where numbers should be for damage or healing attributes. But otherwise its a very useful app.

Some bad moments

For a beginner this app is useful, but as you explore the nuts and bolts of this game the information in this app is outdated and not worth the developers residual income off it if they are not willing to keep it up-to-date. For example the game is had a veteran rank cap of 16 for quite a while and despite them getting rid of veteran ranks in the next month or so, the veteran rank cap in this app still states it is 10. Save yourself the money and just find the latest info in a web browser.
I expected to be able to download and get guides but the actual things you would really be looking for while downloading this app you have to pay for. Dont waste your money. All you really get is a rundown on what all of the sets are, races, classes, builds, etc. There is no free guides or anything. I could have just Googled "what are all of the builds in eso" and saved my money.
You first must buy the app then need to buy premium to make a build. Build editor is right at the app launch like they want you to try and make a build but get hit with $1.99 -.-
Really, the lower scoring reviews seem to be accurate, its a good guide but how can you make a main point of your app a double charge? Its insulting to decide to spend money only to have to pay again for something you thought you were paying for the first time.... Make the double charge a single, or make the second charge way more apparent in the preview. OR JUST DROP THE BS "premium" charge. Premium extortion is what it is.
Sorry, but if you list items in the database without listing their stats ... what is it good for? Only the name of the item just does not help. This app is a ripp off.
Nice App! Exactly what I searched for to have a map and database on the iPad while playing on my iMac. Nevertheless: Only 2 of 5 starts until a German version is available as well and until the maps are available in a better resolution. PS: Why don’t the maps remember which items I switched on/off..that’s annoying and would be good if the setting would be global for ALL maps, not per map. My suggestion: Remove unnecessary features like the item database (there are muuuuccccchhhh better online you can never compete with) and focus on the cool and unique features you need while playing.
